4 players to play in both PSL 2025 and IPL 2025

The IPL and PSL run concurrently for the first time and hence, didn’t give the opportunity to the players to feature in both tournaments. However, the India-Pakistan tensions, the subsequent suspension and resumption of both the competitions gave the players a chance to take a punt in both.

With the IPL and PSL getting suspended and only a few players returning to the latter following the resumption, there were a few repetitions in terms of personnel, with players preferring IPL after the restart, especially since the clash with international schedules forced the teams to sign temporary replacements

Mitch Owen, who has become the newest blue-eyed boy on the franchise circuit, was picked by the Peshawar Zalmi as a replacement player for PSL 2025. With Glenn Maxwell getting ruled out, Punjab Kings signed Owen as a replacement, who would have joined the side after completing his PSL stint. However, with the tournament suspension, Owen joined early and made his debut against the Rajasthan Royals.
