Director Neeraj Pandey’s Khakee: The Bengal Chapter was unveiled in the Netflix 2025 lineup on February 3. Set in Bengal in the early 2000s, the series will showcase the era where gangsters and politicians reign supreme and a decorated cop’s death paves the way for a fearless IPS Arjun Maitra — an unrelenting force ready to take on the chaos and restore justice.
From the badlands of Bihar to the ganglands of Bengal, the next chapter unfolds in Kolkata in 2003. This action-thriller series follows two dedicated cops as they pursue a notorious don and his ruthless henchmen.
The upcoming series is based on a true story.

The first part of the Netflix series titled, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, starring Karan Tacker and Avinash Tiwar was about a righteous cop who pursues a merciless criminal in Bihar and finds himself navigating a deadly chase and a moral battle mired in corruption.

Khakee: The Bengal Chapter stars Jeet, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Ritwik Bhowmik, Aadil Khan, Chitrangada Singh, Pooja Chopra, Aakanksha Singh, Mimoh Chakraborty and Shraddha Das in key roles. Directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray, the Netflix series is backed by Shital Bhatia.
