Educational Requirements
The Educational requirement for each and every post is differ from one another. Candidates who apply for engineering posts must have Engineering degree and those applying for HR executives must be complete the MBA and for Finance they must qualify the CA/CMA. THDC Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The management reserves the right to conduct the multi-stage selection process which comprises Application Shortlisting, screening, post-qualification experience, written computer test, and interview as per requirement. If candidates are more than 50, the final merit list for the recruitment will be based on two factors:
- 75% weightage will be given to the marks obtained in the Written Test, which has a total of 150 marks, and
- 25% weightage will be given to the marks obtained in the Personal Interview, which has a total of 50 marks.
The selected candidates are liable to be posted/transferred to any of the Stations, Projects, or Offices of Tehri Hydro Development Corporation.
THDC Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern
If the Number of Applicants is more than 50, the commission conducts the written examination and Interview. The written examination consists of three subjects, General Awareness, Reasoning, and the concerned discipline. Candidates must obtain a minimum qualifying marks to be called for the interview.
- Each question will carry one mark each
- Every correct answer gives you 1 mark
- Every wrong answer deducts 0.25 marks
- Qualified candidates from the written examination will be called for the Interview of 50 marks.

If the Number of Applicants is less than 50, the commission conducts the Interview. For the calculation of the final score the weightage of marks obtained in the personnel interview. Candidates should get the minimum qualifying marks set by the commission.

THDC Engineer and Executives Salary 2025
Selected candidates will undergo 1 year probation period. After completing the Probation Period, selected candidates for the post of Engineer and Executives in E-2 Grade will be given the basic pay of Rs.50000 with a pay scale of Rs 50000-3%- Rs.160000.
