BLUE HILL, Maine (WABI) – A high-speed pursuit ended in a crash in Blue Hill Wednesday, according to authorities.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department responded to a suspicious activity and trespassing complaint.

They say during the investigation they attempted to stop 25-year-old Logan Lajeunesse of Brooksville to discuss the incident but Lajeunesse failed to comply.

According to authorities Lajeunesse led Lt. Brian Archer on a brief high-speed pursuit along Union Street before Lajeunesse lost control of his vehicle while attempting to turn.

Officials say the vehicle struck a rock head on, flipped in the air, and landed on its side.

Lajeunesse sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

He is facing multiple charges including eluding an officer, aggravated driving to endanger, and exceeding the posted speed limit by 30 miles per hour or more.
