In a previous interview with Hindustan Times, Akshay revealed Aarav isn’t interested in acting. He said, “I was just thinking about how different it is in my home. I want to show my son films, I want to tell him about films, he doesn’t want to see films. I want to put him into all that but he just doesn’t want to see anything, he just wants to do his work. He wants to study or do his fashion designing.”
He added, “My son… he is not interested in films. He just wants to do his fashion designing and he is into that.”
On Shikhar Dhawan’s podcast, Akshay said Aarav lives alone and is independent. “I am happy the way Twinkle and I have brought up Aarav; he is a very simple boy. We never forced him to do anything. He is interested in fashion; he doesn’t want to be a part of cinema,” he said, adding, “He does his own laundry, he is a good cook, does the utensils and doesn’t even want to buy expensive clothes.”
