Operation Sindoor: Delhi airport issues advisory after India launches targeted strikes in Pakistan

The Delhi Airport on Wednesday issued an advisory for travellers after India carried out precise strikes overnight against nine targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir to take down terror infrastructure.Kindly note that due to changing airspace conditions, some flights have been impacted at Delhi airport, said the international airport. “For updated information, passengers are advised to contact their respective flights or may visit the official website.”
Indian airlines have cancelled their flights from various cities across North India, including Srinagar that is shut down for operations in the wake of the strikes.

Named Operation Sindoor, the strikes hit terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed, officials said.

It was also made very clear that no Pakistani military facilities have been targeted.

India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution. According to ET sources, the strike was a joint operation by the Indian Army and Air Force using precision strike weapons.

These steps come in the wake of the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were murdered. We are living up to the commitment that those responsible for this attack will be held accountable,” officials said.

News agency ANI, citing sources, reported that Indian forces deliberately selected strike locations to target senior leadership of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba for their involvement in orchestrating and supporting terrorist activities against India.
