Shawn Michaels Crowns The Undertaker As First WWE LFG Champion
Two male and two female competitors, each coached by a different WWE veteran, made up the final four. The Undertaker shone out with two protégés, Tyra Mae Steele and Shiloh Hill, both of whom advanced to the final round, while Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, and Mickie James had one or no representatives in the finals.
Shawn Michaels surprised everyone by showing up to present the LFG Championship to The Deadman, who had more finalists under his tutelage than any other coach. The Undertaker’s supremacy as a coach earned him the LFG title, even though Tyra Mae Steele (Team Undertaker) and Jasper Troy (Team Booker T) were proclaimed the overall victors.
The show-specific belt honors the victorious coach rather than an in-ring fighter. Even though the title is symbolic, supporters are nonetheless excited about it.
