Is Elden Ring Nightreign on Game Pass?
No, Elden Ring Nightreign is not set for a Game Pass release. It’s unlikely we’ll see the standalone Elden Ring adventure come to the subscription platform in the near future.
Elden Ring and FromSoftware’s other games have never appeared on Xbox Game Pass. One of the leaked Microsoft emails from 2023 confirmed that Phil Spencer was looking into bringing Dark Souls to the library to recover from a “disaster situation,” but the partnership never came to fruition.
In the email, Spencer said, “Another option… is to try to go get all of the Dark Souls games and make a push with From[Software] and an Elden Ring upsell,” following the game’s February 2022 release. Neither Dark Souls nor Elden Ring have appeared on Game Pass in the years since.
This doesn’t mean the games will never be released to Game Pass, especially since it is something Spencer has looked into previously, but it does suggest we won’t see Elden Ring or Nightreign anytime soon.
