Days After Air India Mishap, 7 Dead In Kedarnath Helicopter Crash In Uttarakhand | Gaurikund
A helicopter belonging to Aryan Aviation Pvt Ltd crashed in a remote area between Gaurikund and Trijuginarayan in Uttarakhand’s Kedarghati, leaving at least seven people dead. The chopper had taken off from Kedarnath en route to Guptkashi around 5:30 am but crashed shortly after, reportedly due to poor visibility and bad weather. The crash site, located in the forested region above Gaurikund, caught fire following the impact. Rudraprayag’s District Disaster Management Officer and Inspector General Rajiv Swaroop confirmed the incident.
