Remember the iconic Bhootni episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that had Gokuldham Society in a ghostly mess? Get ready for another spooky rollercoaster! The makers are bringing back the chills and laughs with a brand-new ‘Bhootni’ twist in the current storyline.
On Saturday, a teaser for the upcoming episode was dropped, giving fans a glimpse of the eerie new character. And yes, the ghost’s face has been revealed — and it’s already got viewers talking.
This time, it’s society secretary Bhide who will first encounter the mysterious events. In the teaser, Bhide is seen returning to Gokuldham on his beloved scooter, Sakharam. On his way, he meets a woman in a white saree who asks him for a lift. But things take a strange turn when the same woman suddenly appears in front of him again, this time looking extremely frightening.
The upcoming episode promises a mix of spooky fun, hilarious reactions, and that classic Taarak Mehta flavour that fans love.
Looking at her, Bhide asks the woman whether she has a twin, as he gives a lift to her lookalike, and turns behind to point toward the lady whom he offered the lift. But to his shock, there’s no one sitting behind him.
Sharing the new teaser on Instagram, the makers wrote in the caption, “Ep 4424 – PRECAP! Bhide ka hua Bhootni se samna?”
In no time, the comment section was flooded with reactions from fans comparing the new horror episode to the previous one. An Instagram user wrote, “Old bhootni arc is OG tbh, yeh kuch nahi hai.” One of them shared, “Bhutani 2:0 loading.” Another one shared, “Old bhootni episode was epic.”
The current track of the show features the residents of the Gokuldham Society who are excited to go on vacation to Taarak Mehta’s boss’s bungalow, Holiday Home. As his boss was pleased with Taarak’s work and the profit the company generated, he requested Taarak and his wife a pleasant journey and a vacation in his bungalow. Taarak, on the other hand, asked for permission to go on vacation with the people of the Gokuldham Society. But Taarak was unaware of his boss’s ulterior goal, as he wanted to investigate the rumours that his house was haunted.
