The tool, also known as the Nano Banana, is powered by Google’s Gemini 2.25 Flash Image model and can instantly transform any uploaded photo into a lifelike 3D collectable figurine.

The new feature has gained popularity online because it is simple to use, does not require any professional skills, and can be completed using a single text prompt, all for free. All you need is a Google account, which you can get for free through Google AI Studio. After that, upload the image, and the AI will convert it into a 3D render in a matter of seconds. How to create a 3D action figurine:
- Open Google AI Studio – Visit Google AI Studio on any browser, select Try Gemini, and log in with your Google account.
- Select Nano Banana – In the right panel, choose Nano Banana (Gemini 2.5 Flash Image). Accept the terms to proceed.
- Upload a photo – Click the “+” button near Run and upload any image — it could be a selfie, your pet’s photo, or a scenic shot.
- Run the 3D figurine prompt – Copy and paste the following prompt into the chatbox, then hit Run: “Create a highly detailed 1/7 scale figurine of the characters from the provided picture, crafted in a realistic style, and displayed in a real-world environment. The figurine is posed dynamically on a round, transparent acrylic base with no text, placed on a sleek, modern computer desk made of wood with a glossy finish. The desk is organised, featuring a monitor, keyboard, and a few small accessories like a pen holder and a coffee mug.
