Angela kicks off the season, with Daredevil following soon after
Marvel Rivals season 4 is on the horizon, bringing a ton of additions to developer NetEase Games’ competitive hero arena. Called “Season of the Dragon,” season 4 starts with the addition of Angela to the roster, before introducing Daredevil later in the season. That’s in addition to new maps, modes, and, of course, costumes.

As usual, the latest Marvel Rivals season will start after a brief period of downtime. Maintenance for Marvel Rivals season 4 is scheduled to go underway at 9 a.m. UTC on Friday, Sept. 12, according to a post on the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) feed, and is expected to last about two to three hours.
Assuming there are no delays during maintenance, season 4 should start around 7 a.m. EDT on Sept. 12. Here’s what that looks like across the time zones:
- 4 a.m. PDT for the west coast of North America
- 7 a.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
- 8 a.m. BRT for Brazil
- 12 p.m. BST for the U.K.
- 1 p.m. CEST for western and central Europe
- 8 p.m. JST for Japan
- 9 p.m. AEST for the east coast of Australia

Here’s a brief summary of what to expect from Marvel Rivals season 4, broken down by week:
- Sept. 12: Angela joins the Marvel Rivals roster as a Vanguard, and the Fruit of Immortality battle pass becomes available. Several arcade modes will be playable and the Scroll of the Immortal Beasts event kicks off.
- Sept. 19: A second wave of swimsuit skins, officially called Marvel Rivals Swimsuit and Summer Special Vol. 2, will become available.
- Sept. 27: The map roster gets a K’un-lun map (Heart of Heaven), and Hela gets a new outfit.
- Oct. 3: Emma Frost gets a new outfit.
- Oct. 10: Season 4.5 begins, and while developer NetEase Games hasn’t yet detailed what’s in store, it’s a safe bet Daredevil will be added as a playable character in the second half of the season.
