Silos and Safehouses in Borderlands 4 are useful locations not only because they have vending machines and other services, but also because they serve as fast travel teleport points.

Traveling between quests may seem quick when you jump on your vehicle, but as you progress in the game, navigating Kairos becomes a nightmare if you don’t have access to all the teleport points available in the game.

In this Borderlands 4 guide, we list all the Silo and Safehouse locations in the game. We also provide images explaining how you can unlock each specific location as well.

All fast travel spots in Borderlands 4

There are two primary types of fast travel spots in Borderlands 4. Silos have vending machines, while Safe Houses offer other systems like respec machines, but they effectively serve the same purpose.

Below, we’ve listed out where to find all Silo locations and all Safe House locations. Note that you’ll also unlock a few other fast travel locations while playing the story, but because you’ll encounter these fast travel locations naturally in the main quest and don’t have to do anything special to unlock them, we haven’t listed them in this guide.

All Silo locations in Borderlands 4

Spread out on the map, you will find points of interest called Silos. They work as teleport points as well as places where you find vending machines to sell items and replenish ammo if needed. Whenever you unlock a Silo, you earn 40 SDU points and get access to a launcher that can help you reach nearby places a bit faster.

Unlocking a Silo is worth the trouble because it pinpoints the areas where you can find Vault Key Fragments. You need three of these to open a Vault, which are basically dungeons, and face some challenging enemies.

While unlocking them is a simple process — just enter the main building and use the command console — there are usually enemies in the areas around Silos, so be prepared to fight.

Below, there’s a list of all the Silos in the game, the region they are located in, and any useful information on how to unlock them.

The Stockroom (Coastal Bonescape)

The best path to reach this Silo is to head southeast. You will have to face some groups of enemies while you climb the stairs that will take you to the command console. After they are gone, you just need to walk inside the main building to capture this silo.

Deep Seven (Dissected Plateau)

The entrance of this Silo can only be accessed by using a path surrounding the main building from the west. Use your grappling hook to go upwards. There are many enemies in this area, so be careful. By heading forward, you will find the Command Console.

The Reliquary (Cuspid Climb)

This is a simple Silo to unlock, but it’s also protected by groups of rippers. Check your guns and ammo and head to the Cuspid Climb area to find and unlock The Reliquary Silo.

There are no secrets involved in finding this Silo. It’s located, however, next to a large ripper camp, so you will have a considerable number of enemies to defeat before you can reach the Command Console.

All Safehouse locations in Borderlands 4

In terms of function, a Safehouse offers basically the same options as a Silo does. You can teleport to it, and all of them will have vending machines. However, a few Safehouses will also have a transfer machine, mission board, lost loot machine, and respec machine.

When it comes to unlocking a Safehouse, the process is a little bit more complicated than it is with Silos. Every Safehouse has a Datapad, an item you need to find and activate. The next step is always to look for the Command Console and use it to claim the location. At the same time, unlocking a Safehouse also rewards you with 40 SDU.

Below, you will find all the Safehouses, the area they are located, and where you find their respective Datapad.
