On this date, shareholders of Tata Motors will receive 1 fully paid-up share of TMLCV (face value ₹2 each) for every 1 share held in Tata Motors. The brokerage said Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will gradually resume production after the September 2025 cyber-attack, though demand remains weak across Europe, China, and the US. On the domestic side, GST cuts are expected to drive high single-digit growth for passenger and commercial vehicles in H2FY26.

Nuvama also noted Tata Motors’ planned acquisition of Iveco’s ex-defence business at 2x CY24 EV/EBITDA, set to close by April 2026, which should be “EPS accretive initially, and meaningfully accretive over two years.” Meanwhile, separate listings of the PV and CV units are likely in October and November 2025, pending approvals.

Despite these positives, Nuvama retained its ‘REDUCE’ rating on Tata Motors, with a September 2026 target price of ₹680, citing muted JLR prospects.
