After a closed beta period, 2XKO early access is about to be released, giving everyone the chance to play Riot’s fighting game. Based on the universe of League of Legends, 2XKO puts characters that you have seen dominating their lanes and performing pentakills, but now in a 2v2 arena. Now, in 2XKO, instead of worrying about farming enough gold to buy the right build, you need to learn all the moves while you enjoy seeing your favorite League of Legends’s character adapted to a different genre.

Below, you will find when 2XKO early access releases in your time zone.

2XKO early access release time in your time zone

2XKO early access will release at 11 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, Oct. 7 for Windows PC, as explained in a post from the game’s official X account. If you’re excited to start punching and kicking on 2XKO early access, here’s when it releases in your time zone:

  • 8 a.m. PDT for the west coast of North America
  • 11 a.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
  • 12 p.m. BRT for Brazil
  • 4 p.m. BST for the U.K.
  • 5 p.m. CEST for western Europe
  • 12 a.m. JST on Oct. 8 for Japan

What to expect from 2XKO early access

After dominating the MOBA scene, Riot is working on its first fighting game, where you play 2v2 matches in which mastering tag and assist mechanics is key to achieving victory. As the period of closed beta comes to an end, and more players are finally able to experience 2XKO because of early access, Riot is preparing some new features for the game.

In addition to the characters already available in the closed beta, Teemo joins the roster with the early access. Bringing his nasty attitude and his annoying dart shots, Teemo is sure to be a fun character to play.

Alongside early access, 2XKO’s first season is also going to start. Typically, in fighting games, seasons represent a set period of time during which you can play ranked matches and participate in specific activities. As explained by Riot, there will be five seasons in 2026, and each of them will add a new character to the roster, reset your rank, roll out a brand-new battle pass, and more.

If you’ve been playing the closed beta, you may want to know that there will be no more content resets once 2XKO early access hits, as executive producer Tom Cannon explained in the early access announcement video, posted above.
