With EICMA 2025 inching ever closer by the day, manufacturers throughout the two-wheeled space are pulling out all the stops to ensure that they can make an impact. As such, names like Honda and LiveWire are already previewing some highly ambitious concepts.
However, just because the big show is almost here doesn’t mean that the industry is sitting idly by. Quite the contrary, as Kawasaki and Triumph have been keeping busy with everything from affordable street bikes to dirt-slinging scramblers.
Not one to be left out, Yamaha has pulled the wraps off a pair of motorcycles for the European market that are as eye-catching in appearance as they are impactful in upgrades.
Catch up on all the two-wheeled terrific-ness we’ve tracked the past couple of weeks below.
MaevingMaeving RM2
The boutique British electric brand’s first two-up is a gorgeously retro-styled yet practical urban bike that aims to win over new riders but could also convert some old-school gas bike devotees. It’s easy to ride, easy to charge (thanks to removable batteries) and easy to outfit with a rear rack and top case for more ambitious adventures. Similar to its bobber brothers, the RM2 boasts a brushless hub-type motor delivering a snappy 193 ft-lb of torque, a top speed of 70 mph and a range of 80 miles.
Triumph Motorcycles2026 Triumph Scrambler 900
This Scrambler’s aesthetics may be throwback, but the rider-friendly features are impressively modern. The most notable are upgraded Showa suspension (with 120mm of travel front and rear) and responsive radial brakes delivering improved stopping power no matter the surface. The bike also gets a boost from an integrated color TFT screen, LED lighting, lightweight aluminum rims and a couple of key handling helpers: lean-sensitive Optimized Cornering ABS and Traction Control. Oh yeah, let’s not forget a thumping 900cc parallel twin engine making 64.1 horsepower at 7,250 rpm and max torque of 80Nm at 3,250 rpm.
Yamaha2026 Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid
Yamaha’s top-of-the-line middleweight adventure bike is getting even better for 2026 thanks to some impactful updates. Along with a six-axis IMU and some throttle-by-wire, it’s also getting improved suspension, upgraded touch points and other impactful tweaks.
