Thiruvananthapuram: The State Election Commission on Monday said that eligible voters can add their names to the electoral rolls for the upcoming local body elections in Kerala on November 4 and 5, except in Mattannur.
According to State Election Commissioner A Shajahan, the special enrolment drive is intended for eligible individuals whose names were omitted from the final voters’ list published on October 25, 2025.
Applications can also be submitted on these days to delete ineligible names, correct existing entries, or change constituencies in the electoral rolls. Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) can also apply to be included on the list.
The SEC said that Electoral Registration Officers will verify the applications and publish the supplementary voters’ lists on November 14, which will then be distributed to all political parties.
Citizens who will turn 18 on or before January 1, 2025, are eligible to register as voters. Applications for new enrolment (Form 4), correction of details (Form 6), change of address or constituency (Form 7), and NRI voter registration (Form 4A) must be submitted online through the Commission’s website— https://sec.kerala.gov.in
Upon submission, applicants will receive a computer-generated notice for hearing, which will specify the date for appearing in person with the required documents.
