Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is free (and actually good)
Over $100 worth of content for the free-to-play Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is free for the next week via the Epic Games Store. The strategy management sim drops in over 140 champions from across the Dungeons & Dragons multiverse to venture forth through hundreds of adventures, battling monsters and snagging gold along the way. It’s an auto-battler, so your champions will take down enemies even when you’re not actively in the game.
Nixie’s Champions of Renown Bundle Pack is on offer for free, and contains five champions and a multitude of gear chests. As Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms pulls from all matter of D&D media, Baldur’s Gate 3‘s Shadowheart is on offer as part of the free pack. Also available for free is Felix the Reaper, a 2019 puzzle game. You play as Felix, “whose job is to make sure that people die,” according to the game’s official description. He’s a bit like Jigsaw from the Saw films in that he’ll craft contrived ways to get those people dying, though he’ll be dancing around the floating levels while he does it.
