11 Years Later, Woody Harrelson Officially Confirms Return Status to Hit HBO Crime Drama

WillTrue Detective fans get to see Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey back together in another season of the hit HBO drama? If it were up to Harrelson, the odds of that happening appear to be slim.

Woody Harrelson commented on the possibility of reuniting with Matthew McConaughey for another season of True Detective during an appearance on the 3rd Hour of Today. McConaughey recently said, “I’d do it,” if given the opportunity to do True Detective again with a script as original as the one he was given when the show debuted in 2014.

“Matthew’s so funny, but in fairness, never,” Harrelson said. He then added, “Not a chance.”
