Realme has finally launched its latest flagship, the GT 8 Pro, in India. The device succeeds the GT 7 Pro from last year, but comes with a host of upgrades. The GT 8 Pro debuts Realme’s partnership with camera icon Ricoh, with a particular focus on street photography.
The phone also gets a unique swappable module design, allowing users to change the camera modules.
Apart from the cameras, the Realme flagship gets the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and a 144Hz AMOLED display. The Realme GT 8 Pro goes on sale on November 25. Before you decide to grab the device, here is everything you need to know.
Realme GT 8 Pro price in India
The Realme GT 8 Pro starts at Rs 72,999 in India for the base 12GB/256GB variant. The 16GB/512GB variant costs Rs 78,999. Bank offers worth Rs 5,000 are available on the device. Early buyers will also get a free set of camera modules.
The Realme GT 8 Pro Dream Edition, made in collaboration with the Aston Martin F1 team, costs Rs 79,999 for the sole 16GB/512GB model.

Display: The GT 8 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel, offering a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,000 nits
Chipset: The Realme flagship is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The phone also gets a 7,000 sq mm vapour chamber cooling system for sustained performance.
Gaming chip: The GT 8 Pro gets a dedicated R1 chipset for gaming. It also packs the Hyper Vision AI chip for artificial intelligence.
Rear cameras: The Realme GT 8 Pro gets a Ricoh-branded camera module. The main camera is a 50-megapixel anti-glare sensor with Ricoh GR modes. There is also a 200-megapixel 3x telephoto lens, as well as a 50-megapixel ultrawide.
The device supports 4K 120fps video recording with Dolby Vision.

The Realme GT 8 Pro also gets Ricoh’s iconic GR modes. The Ricoh GR mode comes with five unique film tones—Positive, Negative, High-contrast Black & White, Standard, and Monochrome. This gives users greater control over their shots.
