‘Y: Marshals’ Trailer: Kayce Dutton Rides Again

CBS has released the first full trailer for “Y: Marshals.”

The upcoming “Yellowstone” spinoff series will debut on CBS on March 1, 2026. Luke Grimes stars in the series, reprising the role of Kayce Dutton. In the trailer, Kayce opens by saying, “I fought every day to get out from under the weight of the Yellowstone. I’ve lost my teammates, my parents, even my brothers. I know sometimes good men have to do bad things. But I’m trying to find a new beginning.”

The logline for the show states, “With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana.”

Along with Grimes, the cast of the show includes Logan Marshall-Green, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, Tatanka Means, and Brett Cullen. Fellow “Yellowstone” alums Brecken Merrill, Gil Birmingham, and Mo Brings Plenty will also reprise their roles in the CBS show.

“Y: Marshals” was ordered to series at CBS in May for the 2025-2026 broadcast season. The initial episode is being written by Spencer Hudnut and directed by Greg Yaitanes. Hudnut also serves as executive producer and showrunner. “Yellowstone” mastermind Taylor Sheridan executive produces along with David C. Glasser for 101 Studios as well as John Linson, Art Linson, Grimes, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Greg Yaitanes, Michael Friedman, and Keith Cox. Paramount Television Studios will produce. The series will be distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
