India are blessed with several young cricketers, who are making their mark in international cricket. Yashasvi Jaiswal has been the most impressive among the lot, and after a few failures, he registered two back-to-back fifties in the fourth Test of the five-match series. Mark Nicholas, who played domestic cricket in England, is a fan of the left-handed batter.

Jaiswal started the series with a magnificent score of 161 runs in the second innings of the series opener but then failed to get going in Adelaide and Brisbane. The critics lambasted him for not spending time in the middle and throwing away his wicket by going for strokes from the first ball of his innings.

He made some adjustments to his style and came up with two 80-plus scores at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Yashasvi was the best batter from the India National Cricket Team.

“Yashasvi Jaiswal is my favourite young cricketer. He doesn’t get bothered by the situation and what happened to him on the previous delivery. He goes for his shots, and his technically sound. You will see a lot of him in the future,” he said on Star Sports.

Ravi Shastri feels that the tour of Australia will help Jaiswal to become a better player, as it is not easy to score runs in this part of the world.
