Keys are hidden throughout Phantom Blade Zero’s world, and many of the locked doors can be found in the Village of Lu. In the north of the region, you’ll find the cellar, but it’ll be locked. To get the goodies inside, you’ll need to find the Village of Lu Cellar Key. Here’s where you need to go to get it so that you’re not wasting time looking for it.
Where to find the Village of Lu Cellar Key
Interestingly, the cellar key is actually nowhere near the cellar itself. Instead, you need to progress through the main quest in the area until you’ve unsealed the Village of Lu and got access to the smuggler’s tunnel.
Once you’re in there, you’ll have to fight one of the best bosses in the game to get a serpent eye and unlock the red door that takes you to the city of Pangzhen.
Before heading in, you’ll need to grab the Tunnel Cage Key from the central room of the tunnel, up a short set of stairs. The location is in the screenshot above.
Then, head into the tunnel past the red door, and you’ll find a man in a cell. You need to use the key you just found to open it.
All you need to do is speak to the man in the cell, who’ll tell you he wasn’t able to open the cage door. He gives you the Village of Lu Cellar Key as a thank you for letting him out.
You can then use the crane bell in the central hall of the tunnel to fast travel back to the location of the cellar in the Village of Lu. Use the key, open the door, and grab the rewards inside.
