Higher reaches of Lahaul and Spiti received light snowfall today afternoon. Meanwhile, at most places in the state, the weather remained cloudy but dry.
As per the weather department, there is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall at a few places in the districts of Lahaul and Spiti, and Kinnaur tomorrow. Meanwhile, light to moderate precipitation is likely at a few places in the districts of Shimla, Chamba, Mandi, Kullu and Kangra. In the remaining districts of the state, there are chances of light to moderate rainfall at a few places. There is also a possibility of thunderstorm with lightning and hail at many places in the state.
With the weather turning cloudy, the average maximum temperature has slipped below normal in most parts of the state.
