Housefull 5 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3: Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Ritiesh Deshmukh’s latest film, Housefull 5 failed to get critical acclaim, but it has not deterred the audience from walking into theatres. While the two different climaxes seemed confusing — Housefull 5 A and Housefull 5 B — to the audience at the beginning, the film still managed to draw a decent footfall in theaters. With Akshay Kumar leading a long list of actors, the film has earned Rs 91.83 crore India nett, as per the makers.
Housefull 5 box office collection first weekend
On day three that was Sunday, Housefull 5 earned Rs 35.10 crore in India at the box office. The film began with Rs 24.35 crore and Rs 32.28 crore on Saturday, as per the makers.

Until Saturday (day 2), the film’s gross India collection stood at Rs 65 crores. Overseas, the film has earned Rs 22 crores in two days. Compared to Akshay Kumar’s previous films, Housefull 5 seems to have performed much better. Housefull 5 has surpassed the opening weekend collection of Housefull 4 (Rs 53.22 crore), Good Newzz (Rs 64.99 crore), as well as Mission Mangal (Rs 70.02 crore) ans Sooryavanshi (Rs 77 crore).
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on X, “SUPER WEEKEND… Housefull5 scores a big, fat total in its opening weekend… Emerges as #AkshayKumar’s BIGGEST OPENING WEEKEND in the post-pandemic era – even BIGGER than #Sooryavanshi [₹ 77.08 cr; 50% occupancy in #Maharashtra]. Housefull 5 box office vs Sky Force and Kesari 2
This is Akshay Kumar’s third release in 2025 after Sky Force and Kesari 2, and Housefull 5 seems to be his most successful film of the year so far. While Kesari Chapter 2 collected Rs 29.5 crores in its opening weekend, Sky Force had earned Rs 62.25 crores.
Housefull 5 occupancy
Housefull 5 had an overall occupancy of 39.52 percent on Sunday, with a total of 4797 shows running all over India. The film’s highest occupancy was seen in Chennai at 62.50 percent with 42 shows. Lucknow also had an occupancy of 46 percent with 210 shows. The third highest occupancy was in Mumbai at 45.25 percent with 811 shows. The occupancy in Delhi NCR was 38.50 percent with 1195 shows.

Housefull 5 has been directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film also stars Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Dino Morea, Chitrangda Singh, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, and others in important roles.
