Myles Lewis-Skelly signs new deal
Arsenal ace Myles Lewis-Skelly has committed his future to the Emirates with a new long-term contract.
According to transfer insider Charles Watts, Lewis-Skelly has penned a five-year deal with the Gunners.
Fulham target Zinchenko – EXCLUSIVE
Fulham are set to enter the race for Oleksandr Zinchenko – who could be available for just £10million this summer.
The defender is in the sights of several clubs having fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal.
The Ukrainian international, signed for £32m in 2022, is now thought to be surplus to requirements by Mikel Arteta and could be sold before the start of the Premier League season.
And that has put Fulham on red alert, with the Cottagers attracted to the ex-Manchester City star’s experience and versatility.
Marco Silva is keen to push ahead with a deal and although the Gunners value the player at £12.7m, the West London club think they could land him for around £10m.
Fulham think they could deploy him in defence or midfield as they look to build on their impressive performance last season.
A source told SunSport: “Zinchenko is a major target for Fulham. He looks almost certain to leave the Emirates this summer and there will be no shortage of takers.”
Arsenal linked with ‘next Kante’
Arsenal are discussing a move for Sevilla ace Lucien Agoume amid concerns Thomas Partey may not extend his contract.
The Gunners are negotiating a new deal with Partey with Partey’s current terms set to expire next week.
According to The Athletic, the two parties are yet to find an agreement and the Ghana international is beginning to entertain offers from elsewhere.
The midfielder is understood to be keen on remaining in London, but Arsenal are preparing potential alternatives in case he leaves.
The Atheltic report that one name under discussion is Agoume, who has been likened to former Chelsea and Leicester superstar N’Golo Kante.
However, the imminent arrival of Christian Norgaard from Brentford could put the whole thing to rest.
Norgaard’s ‘awkward reunion’
Christian Norgaard is set for an awkward reunion with an Arsenal star as he prepares to make the short trip to North London from Brentford.
Norgaard has been a vital part of the team at the Gtech Community Stadium since arriving from Fiorentina in 2019.
The midfielder has made his mark in the Premier League as a tough-tackling player.
And it was the Denmark international’s aggressive nature that saw him on the receiving end of a dig from Gabriel Martinelli.
Martinelli accused the 31-year-old of trying to break his leg when the teams met in April’s 1-1 draw at the Emirates.
Norgaard was shown a yellow card for his sliding challenge, but the Brazil international thought he deserved a harsher punishment.
Striker ‘transfer hint’
RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko is among Arsenal’s top summer transfer targets.
Sesko is rated at a minimum of £68.5million and a maximum of £85.5m by Leipzig.
Sun Sport exclusively revealed how the Gunners were prepared to pay £70m for the striker.
And the Slovenia international appears to have dropped one of the biggest hints yet over his future after following Arsenal on Instagram.
