BHEL Q2 Results 2025 LIVE: State-run Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) announced its September quarter results today, October 29, post-market hours, with the numbers coming in ahead of analysts’ expectations.

The company turned profitable with a consolidated net profit of ₹375 crore, beating the analysts’ consensus estimates, driven by robust execution and a recovery in the power equipment segment.
The company had reported a net loss of ₹455.5 crore in the preceding June quarter. On a year-on-year basis, net profit improved sharply by 253%, against ₹106.15 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
On the top line, consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹7,512 crore, compared with ₹6,584 crore in Q2FY24, marking a 14% YoY improvement.
It reported a strong performance across both its key business segments during the quarter ended September 30, 2025.
Power segment revenue rose sharply to ₹5,675.64 crore, marking a robust 45.6% increase from ₹3,898.86 crore in the June 2025 quarter and a 12.9% growth from ₹5,028.28 crore in the year-ago period (September 2024 quarter).
Similarly, the Industry segment posted revenue of ₹1,836.16 crore, up 15.6% sequentially from ₹1,588.05 crore in the June quarter and 18% higher compared to ₹1,555.82 crore in the same quarter last year.
As a result, total segment revenue from operations grew to ₹7,511.80 crore in Q2FY26, reflecting a 36.9% sequential increase over ₹5,486.91 crore in the previous quarter and a 14% year-on-year rise from ₹6,584.10 crore in Q2FY25.
At the operating level, the company reported an EBITDA of ₹580.8 crore, a 111% jump from ₹275 crore in the year-ago quarter. Margins expanded by 7.7%, compared with 4.2% in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
