What are the Black Ops 7 missions in order? The latest Call of Duty campaign is co-op-focused, but it continues the familiar story with many of the fan-favorite characters. The BO7 campaign missions are as action-packed as always, but how many are there in this year’s game?
In addition to the mission synopsis, we’ve also included the campaign rewards, as well as the estimated completion time based on our experience. The missions order is the same for everyone, and you’ll likely want to know how far through the Black Ops 7 campaign you are and how long BO7 is. As always, the story mode is a great way to learn the weapons and get used to the gameplay before jumping into the multiplayer action and Zombies.

Exposure
David Mason and Specter One, his JSOC squad, have been dispatched to deal with the Menendez threat.

Inside
After giving Karma the Guild’s data drive to decrypt, Specter One tracks down a Guild insider who knows about the toxin coursing through the veins.

- Estimated Completion Time: 25 minutes
Distortion
The confrontation with the Guild insider has left the team trapped inside a shared hallucination inside a jungle. To leave, they must confront a figure from David’s past.
- Rewards: ‘Phantom’ Weapon Blueprint, 5,000 XP
- Estimated Completion Time: 30 minutes
Escalation
Karma can’t decrypt the data drive without access to a quantum computer, forcing Specter One to try to find one.
- Rewards: ‘Sniper, No Sniping’ Emblem, 5,000 XP
- Estimated Completion Time: 20 minutes
Disruption
Razor and the rest of Specter Two attempt to infiltrate a Guild facility known as ‘The Forge’ in hopes of decrypting the data drive.

- Estimated Completion Time: 30 minutes
Collapse
Taking place on Avalon, the next large Warzone map, Specter One’s VTOL is ambushed by Guild drones. The team suspects a mole may have revealed their location, causing them to pursue the surviving drone to help track down the traitor.
- Rewards: ‘Wing Clipper’ Weapon Charm, 5,000 XP
- Estimated Completion Time: 15 minutes
Fracture
The team continues to pursue the damaged Guild drone while dealing with the effects of another hallucination, this time set in Los Angeles.
- Rewards: ‘It’s A Clap!’ Finishing Move, 5,000 XP
- Estimated Completion Time: 30 minutes
Quarantine
Karma discovers a way to utilize the sabotaged data drive, leading the team to a bioengineer at the heart of the Guild’s Cradle program.
- Rewards: ‘Guilded Tower’ Loading Screen, 5,000 XP
- Estimated Completion Time: 15 minutes
Suppression
While attempting to infiltrate the Sanctum, Kagan sends Specter One to a realm populated by David’s early fears and memories.
- Rewards: ‘Razerfire Vertex’ Weapon Blueprint, 5,000 XP
- Estimated Completion Time: 30 minutes
Breakpoint
Kagan accelerates the timeline of the Cradles attacks, forcing Specter One to respond by stopping the shipments in Avalon.

- Estimated Completion Time: 20 minutes
Containment
Spector One learns about the true nature of Blackheart, an offshore mining rig operated by the Guild.
- Rewards: ‘Grounded’ Operator Skin, 5,000 XP
- Estimated Completion Time: 40 minutes
The game seamlessly transitions between missions without any fanfare, so it’s not always easy to see when one mission ends and the next begins. The easiest way to see what mission you’re on is to enter the menus while playing and check the top left corner.
Once you’ve finished the 11 campaign missions, you will unlock the Endgame mode. Endgame is an extraction shooter mode that takes place on Avalon. You’ll attempt to complete quests, increase your combat rating, and extract with the rewards.
We’ll avoid spoilers for now while you make your way through the campaign. Keep checking the BO7 missions list to see how far into the adventure you are, though. The FPS game isn’t long, so you’ll be hitting Endgame before long.
