Urvil’s record in IPL
Urvil was signed by Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025 as an injury replacement for Vansh Bedi. He made his IPL debut against Kolkata Knight Riders in Kolkata on May 7, 2025, and scored 31 runs from 11 balls in the 180-run chase. During his stay at the crease in that fixture, he hammered one four and four sixes for the MS Dhoni-led side.
He came out to bat at No. 3 for the Men in Yellow in their next match against Rajasthan Royals in Delhi but was unable to open his account.
In CSK’s last league match of the 2025 edition, Urvil hammered 37 runs from 19 balls against Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium.
Urvil was retained by CSK ahead of the IPL 2026 auction, which is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on December 16.
