Microsoft has confirmed that PlayStation’s recent PC releases can run on the new Xbox handhelds, ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally. These handhelds, which were announced at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, run on Windows, allowing access to the full PC game library including PlayStation titles like God of War Ragnarok, The Last of Us Part I, and Ghost of Tsushima.
Game File asked Microsoft if these games would work, to which a representative said, “Because these handhelds run Windows, you have access to all the games you can play on Windows PCs.” That includes Sony’s growing catalogue of PC ports.
Xbox has not yet announced a price or release date for the ROG Ally or Ally X. But at the Showcase, Xbox chief Phil Spencer also revealed that Gears of War: E-Day will release in 2026, along with a new Forza title.
