It all comes down to one more game for FC Dallas to continue its 2025 season. Tonight they take on the Vancouver Whitecaps in a Decision Day battle that will determine whether or not they make the playoffs or end up with an early start to their offseason.
The lineups are in for each side, so letโs dive into them along with some questions.
The XI + Quick Thoughts

No Petar Musa. No Logan Farrington. No Ramiro. We knew that going into tonight with all three suspended for this Decision Day battle. Eric Quill opted to go with the duo of Anderson Julio and Sam Sarver up top in place of Musa and Farrington.
There are no big changes in the midfield, as Patrickson Delgado will be in support of Sarver and Julio. Kaick and Chris Cappis continue to be paired together in the middle.
The other change will see the five-man defense include Bernard Kamungo and Shaq Moore on the wings, with Lalas Abubakar, Osaze Urhoghide and Sebastien Ibeagha in the middle.
I thought we might see Maarten Paes get the start tonight again for the first time in a few weeks, but Michael Collodi got the nod in goal.
Who is on the bench?
There are plenty of options tonight for Quill as Paes, Sebastian Lletget, Pedrinho, Alvaro Augusto, Enis Sali and a slew of Homegrowns like Paxton Pomykal, Josh Torquato, Nolan Norris and Diego Garcia.
Who should come off the bench?
A lot will depend on how the first half goes in this one and if FC Dallas is chasing this game, but I think we’ll see Lletget, Pedrinho, Pomykal, and Norris in this one.
Big question for tonight: Can FC Dallas secure a playoff spot tonight?
I mean, that is the big question on everyone’s mind tonight. FC Dallas can get into the playoffs with a win, but anything outside of that will mean the club needs some help. The Caps are very good in the attack, so the Dallas defense has to find a way to hold the line, keep the pressure off Collodi, and wait for their chances on the counter attack.
