Inter Milan’s friendly clash with Atletico Madrid will serve as a valuable test for several Nerazzurri looking to climb the pecking order under Cristian Chivu.
According to Tuttosport, the focus will be on Josep Martinez, Yann Bisseck, Andy Diouf and Luis Henrique, who will all start and aim to prove their worth.
Chivu wants to see greater confidence and initiative from those on the fringes of his plans.
Martinez has featured twice in Serie A so far, while Luis Henrique has yet to start a match in the Champions League.
The Brazilian is being asked to show more cutting edge in attack.

Bisseck, meanwhile, hopes to rebuild trust after inconsistent form.
The defender was below par against Udinese but solid in the recent win over Slavia Prague.
Diouf is also under evaluation.
The French midfielder showed flashes of promise in short cameos against Torino and Cremonese.
