Making an appearance at the Xbox Games Showcase, the first Indiana Jones and the Great Circle DLC is named The Order of Giants. The expansion takes the erstwhile adventurer to the ancient streets of Rome, where he’s delving into forgotten catacombs and clashing with a dangerous cult as he uncovers the dark legacy of the Nephilim giants. You can watch the reveal trailer below ahead of its September launch.
Seemingly tying directly into the core story of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, The Order of Giants will see us delving into the secrets of the Nephelim, the organization that Tony Todd’s momentous figure Locus was part of in the base game. It also promises to continue the acclaimed FPS game’s mix of stealth, action, and puzzles.
Paul delivered an emphatic 9/10 score in our Indiana Jones and the Great Circle review, calling it “a majestic use of the license” and hailing its distinctive blend of brain teasers and scrappy showdowns. If Machine Games is able to follow up on that with an expansion of similar quality, we’ll have a real treat on our hands.
