IREDA Q2 results: Navratna government enterprise Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) on Tuesday, October 14, reported a nearly 42 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in its standalone profit for the July-September quarter of the current financial year (Q2FY26).
The public sector undertaking (PSU) non-banking financial company (NBFC) announced on Tuesday that its standalone profit for Q2FY26 stood at ₹549 crore, compared to ₹387.75 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. This marks a 41.6 per cent YoY rise in profit.
IREDA’s total standalone revenue from operations rose 26.2 per cent YoY to ₹2,056.88 crore in Q2FY26 from ₹1,629.55 crore in the same quarter of FY25.
IREDA’s total expenses during the quarter under review rose 16.3 per cent YoY to ₹1,361.38 crore from ₹1,170.47 crore in Q2FY25.
The PSU firm’s operating profit jumped 54 per cent YoY to ₹776 crore in Q2FY26 from ₹503 crore in Q2FY25.
Gross NPA rose to ₹3,353 crore from ₹1,415 crore YoY, while net NPA increased to ₹1,627 crore from ₹666 crore YoY.
IREDA key financial ratios
Gross yield on loan assets as on September 30, 2025, was 9.87 per cent against 9.92 per cent YoY.
Annualised net interest margin (NIM) for the September quarter was 3.72 per cent against 3.34 per cent in Q2FY25.
Debt-equity ratio for Q2FY26 stood at 5.41 against 5.85 YoY.
Earnings per share (EPS) stood at ₹2.88 by the end of Q2FY26 compared to ₹2.87 by Q2FY25.
Provision coverage ratio dropped to 51.48 per cent in Q2FY26 from 52.98 per cent in Q2FY25.
