There are plenty of great action roguelikes out on PC. From Hades 2 and Rogue Legacy 2 through to classics like Dead Cells and The Binding of Isaac, there are many options out there already vying for an audience. Soulstone Survivors looks to have captured some of that attention, though, thanks to its colorful blend of Returnal’s hectic shooting design, Path of Exile 2’s deep customization, and Vampire Survivor’s battlefield upgrades. It’s also just left Early Access on Steam and is celebrating its 1.0 launch with a hefty discount.
Presented with the overhead viewpoint used by many arcade shooters, Soulstone Survivors is an action roguelike game with an emphasis on hectic combat and in-depth character builds. There are hundreds of skills to unlock, characters and weapons to craft and discover, and huge bosses to face off against as players fight through crowded battlefields filled with enemies.
The 1.0 launch rounds out the Early Access version with a ton of new features. It now includes partial voice acting, a new map and seven new bosses, a conclusion to its story, and the introduction of the Machinist and Samurai characters. There’s also an ending to its Titan Hunt chapter, a host of artifact powers for the game’s characters, and a wide range of improvements and bug fixes.
This update seems to be going well so far. Soulstone Survivors’ current all-time user reviews sit at 91% or ‘Very Positive’ on Steam, with recent reviews standing at 89%.

If you want to try it for yourself, Soulstone Survivors is out now in 1.0 on Steam, with an accompanying 35% launch discount that brings its price down to $9.74 USD / £8.44 until Thursday June 26. Grab a copy right here.
