According to several leaks, the rumored new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Super specs are very similar to those of the current RTX 5070 Ti, but with one crucial difference – the memory. With the use of 3GB GDDR7 chips, Nvidia is expected to furnish this new gaming GPU with a massive 24GB of VRAM, giving it much more room to breathe in graphically demanding titles.
As we found in our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti review, it’s hard to justify the current cost of the 5070 Ti when much cheaper graphics cards have the same memory configuration, even if the GPU itself has a decent amount of power at its disposal. Given that the RTX 5070 Ti is already our favorite 1440p GPU on our best graphics card buying guide, we’re hoping this rumored new Nvidia Super GPU will offer even more VRAM for the same price.
RTX 5070 Ti Super specs estimate
This is our best estimate for the RTX 5070 Ti Super specs, based on speculation and leaks, as Nvidia hasn’t officially announced this GPU.
Rumored RTX 5070 Ti Super specs | |
GPU | GB203-350-A1 |
CUDA cores | 8,960 |
RT cores | 70 |
Tensor cores | 280 |
VRAM | 24GB 28Gbps GDDR7 |
Memory interface | 256-bit |
Memory bandwidth | 896GB/s |
TGP | 350W |
Our first glimpse of an RTX 5070 Ti Super specs list came from a post on X (formerly Twitter) by regular tech leaker kopite7kimi. As with all leak stories, bear in mind that none of these specs have been confirmed by Nvidia. However, kopite7kimi has good form for Nvidia tech leaks in the past, including nailing the core RTX 5090 and 5080 specs several months before their release.
According to the leaked specs, the main difference between the RTX 5070 Ti and its rumored Super revision is the addition of 8GB more GDDR7 VRAM, giving it a total of 24GB. Now that 3GB GDDR7 chips are becoming widely available, Nvidia could basically make this Super variant a drop-in-replacement with the new chips, without having to design a new GPU with a wide memory interface.
Unlike the rumored RTX 5080 Super specs, however, the memory is also rumored to be running at the same effective 28Gbps speed as the VRAM on the original RTX 5070 Ti. According to a further leak by tech YouTuber Moore’s Law is Dead, this is because Nvidia is keen to keep down the price of the RTX 5070 Ti Super, whereas there’s more pricing headroom to install costlier, but faster, GDDR7 chips on the more expensive RTX 5080 Super.
Otherwise, the core GPU specs of the RTX 5070 Ti Super look identical to those of the original 5070 Ti, with a GB203 chip that looks as though it has 70 of its Streaming Multiprocessor units enabled, giving it 8,960 CUDA cores. This, in turn, means it would also have 280 Tensor cores for AI work, such as Nvidia DLSS, and 70 RT cores for ray tracing workloads.

However, there’s a stark increase in the rumored total graphics power (TGP) of the 5070 Ti Super compared to the standard card, apparently leaping from 300W to 350W. Given that the VRAM clock is rumored to be staying the same, this could point to a significant clock speed increase on the GPU to boost performance.
The RTX 5070 Ti currently only boosts to 2,452MHz, but the fact that the RTX 5080, which is based on the same chip, boosts to 2,617MHz, even at stock speed, shows there’s some headroom here, and we may be looking at even higher clock speeds on 5070 Ti Super GPUs. Comparatively, the rumored RTX 5070 Super specs point to the cheaper GPU not only coming with 50% more memory but also an increase in the number of CUDA cores.
RTX 5070 Ti Super price estimate
Our best estimate for the RTX 5070 Ti Super price is $749.99, based on leaks and speculation, as no official announcement has been made. Historically, the RTX 4070 Ti Super upgraded the original 4070 Ti from 12GB to 16GB, while also significantly improving the core GPU specs, and still maintained the $799 MSRP, and we’re hoping Nvidia adopts the same strategy this time too.
Given that the 16GB RTX 5060 Ti has a $429 MSRP, a 24GB RTX 5070 Ti Super doesn’t seem out of the question for $749. Also, the 5070 Ti has some tough competition from the 16GB AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT, and it’s likely Nvidia will be keen to see this off with a keenly priced 24GB card. If there is an increase in price, we expect it to be small, perhaps hitting $799.99.
RTX 5070 Ti Super launch window estimate
Our best estimate for the RTX 5070 Ti Super is Q4 2025, meaning between October and December 2025, based on leaks and speculation, as no official announcement has been made. There are rumors that the existing 16GB RTX 5070 Ti will be EOL (end of life) in October 2025, in order to make way for the new Super variant, which is rumored to be coming out before the end of 2025.
As always with leaks and rumors, bear in mind that Nvidia hasn’t even announced whether the 5070 Ti Super even exists or not, let alone any specs details, so take this all with a grain of salt for the moment.
