Should you follow a Persona 5 X tier list?
Note that any gacha game tier list should always be taken with a huge grain of salt. They’re a guideline only and should only ever be viewed as such.
Because Persona 5 X is a turn-based and team-focused title, the best characters can only perform as well with those they’re paired with. Stuffing a top-tier character like Joker in a team with nothing but D-rank characters will ultimately hold him back.
Likewise, running a team of B and A rank characters designed to synergize well with each other’s skillsets or against an opponent of the opposite attribute will always result in an easier time than running a team of characters chosen at random.
Though we’ll always encourage pulling, upgrading, and playing with the characters you simply like the look of, this is a strategy game at the end of the day, and some characters just won’t be up to the task of clearing every single battle.
Who should you reroll for in Persona 5 The Phantom X?
If you’re looking to stretch your F2P status to its absolute limit, rerolling in Persona 5 The Phantom X is key. The best investment is a time investment, but Persona 5 The Phantom X codes can help.
When rerolling in Persona 5 The Phantom X, you can’t go wrong with pulling Joker.
Perfect World has decided to kickstart the global release with the launch of a collab event that didn’t make it into the CN region release until long after launch, and with him still being one of the best units around, pulling Joker is paramount to keeping any F2P account going long after release.
If you’re not too picky about that, missed the collab, or if you’ve simply had enough of the P5 protagonist’s face after all these years, aim for a couple of A-tier units like Yaoling Li, Miyu Sahara, Miyu Sahara, and Lufel.
What’s the best reroll banner in P5X?
It’s recommended that you focus your pulls on the Newcomer Contracts – The Phantom Thieves of Hearts banner.
That’s because you’re guaranteed to get your choice of either Morgana, Ann Takamaki, or Ryuji Sakamoto after 50 pulls. And with a 10 pull costing only 8 Gold Tickets, it’s the most cost-effective way to get a top-tier character or two early on.
Aim to get Ann Takamaki as both a pull and your pick after 50 pulls. Any bonus top-tier characters you get along the way like Yaoling Li or Miyu Sahara will massively power up your team for the trials ahead.
As long as they’re two different classes, you’ll have the makings of a well-rounded team for months to come. A top-tier Medic or Strategist can carry a low-tier team better than you might think.
How do you reroll in P5X?
The launch day rush has seen P5X apply a 100 account creation limit on each device. That means you can currently (and hilariously) attempt only 100 P5X rerolls per device.
Linked accounts can only be deleted after 14 days, thus it’s very important that you make a guest account and refrain from linking it to an external service if you plan on rerolling.
So, if you’ve exhausted the beginner banner and don’t quite have the team to show for it, here’s what to do on Steam:
- Launch P5X.
- Enter the Settings menu (you can do this through your phone in-game with the Tab key, too).
- Click the Account button at the bottom.
- Click the Delete Account text.
- Type “Delete” into the box that appears.
- Hit Confirm.
With that, you should be able to relaunch the game and start a fresh account. Repeat the beginner banner process until you get the team you want, then link your account to an external service to lock it down.
And that should be everything you need from the P5X tier list. For now, at least. We’ll keep updating it with new characters like Runa Dogenzaka and seasonal alts like Summer Motoha Arai as they release. Until then, check out the best new games of 2025 if you’re after something different.
