The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory in view of a religious procession to be held in the Central Range on the occasion of the Holy Prophet’s birthday on September 5, 2025. The gathering is expected to draw 3,000–3,500 participants, with numbers possibly rising to 10,000–12,000. Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and avoid certain routes during the event.

The religious procession will pass through the following route
Pahari Dheeraj Bara Tooti Chowk Sadar Bazar Lahori Gate Khari Baoli Road Fatehpuri Masjid Katra Baryan Lal Kuan Hauz Qazi Chawri Bazar.

No parking will be allowed on Bara Hindu Rao, Pahari Dheeraj, Sadar Thana Road, and Qutub Road
Commuters are advised to avoid the above-mentioned roads during the event and use alternative routes
