- Classic 350, Hunter 350, and Bullet 350 will see a reduction in price
- 450cc, 6500cc range to see a decent price hike
- Applicable from 22 September
Royal Enfield has announced that it will pass on the full GST reduction benefit to all its customers in India. These new GST prices apply to the Hunter 350, Bullet 350, Classic 350, and the Goan Classic 350.
The company hasn’t revealed the new prices, though, but did mention that it will be out on 22 September, when these new GST rates come into effect. To increase overall consumption, the Indian government has announced a new Goods and Services Tax (GST) slab for two-wheelers; all models under 350cc now attract an 18 per cent tax rate instead of 28 per cent.
Royal Enfield also stated that bikes above 350cc will become costlier, as the GST rates have been increased to 40 per cent from the previous 28 per cent plus a 3 per cent cess. As a result of this, bikes like the Himalayan 450, Guerilla 450, and also the entire 650cc range will see a steep price increase.
