The Wandering Merchant” quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong requires expert detective skills, even if you keep our interactive map by your side.

For this wish, you’ll need to track down Jubliana in the Choral Chambers. As you’re exploring, you’ll find evidence that leads to their location, but they’re still a bit tricky to find as they’re hiding in the background.

Here’s how to start the “The Wandering Merchant” quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong and where to find Jubilana’s location.

‘The Wandering Merchant’ quest location in Hollow Knight: Silksong

You can grab “The Wandering Merchant” quest from the quest board at the First Shrine, which is located in the Songclave.

If you haven’t been there yet, follow the path through the Choral Chambers to the northeast. When you find the seemingly abandoned town, head inside the building and remove the silk to unlock the bench. Upon leaving the shrine, you’ll meet the Caretaker, who will scold you for making noise.

At this point, the First Shrine quest board may not yet be available. However, as soon as you respawn (you might do this on purpose if you’re in a hurry), it should be there.

Your task is to find the wandering merchant, a.k.a. Jubilana. Jubilana is located in the Choral Chambers further to the west.

If you’re starting from the First Shrine, take the lower road to the left, passing through the doors with the switches and the steam chambers. When you reach the large room, drop down:

If the hatch isn’t open yet, hit the lever on the right.

Now, drop down twice more until you reach this path to the left, near the bottom of the large chamber:

If you start your hunt for Jubilana from the Grand Bellway station, just head west to find the same entrance.

When you reach the second large chamber, jump across the hanging platforms and enter the room on the left (it’s roughly on the same level).

Defeat the two standard enemies inside this room, and Jubilana will jump out of hiding.
