An unlikely pair who fell in love without ever working together on a film, the duo has been one of Bollywood’s most beloved power couples ever since they made their relationship official.
Recently, renowned paparazzo Manav Manglani took a trip down memory lane and recalled capturing the couple together for the first time after they began dating. He shared that the moment occurred at producer Amritpal Singh Bindra’s Diwali bash, emphasising that the moment was entirely unscripted. Manav mentioned that it was only after his team snapped a few photos that Katrina and Vicky realised they had been ‘officially spotted’ together for the first time. While rumours were already swirling that the two were close friends, with some even speculating there was more to their relationship, they hadn’t made any public appearances together until then.
“My team took the first picture of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif together, getting out of Amritpal Singh’s Diwali party. She was wearing a red dress, while he was in a beige kurta-pyjama. As they were trying to figure out where their cars were, my team spotted them. It was only after they saw the cameras that they realised they had already been snapped; and that’s when it hit them, they had been seen together publicly for the first time. That photo went viral, and how,” he shared during a chat with Vishal Malhotra.
Amid much fanfare, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot in 2021 in a dreamy wedding ceremony in Rajasthan. Speaking about their bond, Vicky shared that neither of them can sleep if a fight or argument is left unresolved. “We both can’t sleep if we have had a fight or argument. She wants to engage. That’s naturally her style, and mine is completely opposite, which is why I feel we beautifully fill each other’s gaps. I am the most rational guy and she is the most sensitive person. Her emotional intelligence is amazing. Wo bahot khatarnak hai and I always trust on that aur mera bahot katttar practical, rational dimag hai,” he said in an interview with Raj Shamani.
While Katrina Kaif was last spotted in director Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas (2024), wherein she appeared alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Vicky Kaushal’s most recent film was Laxman Utekar’s Chhaava (2025), in which he shared the screen with Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna.
