The Rail Gun can be found as a drop from chests and floor loot. Unfortunately, there isn’t a fixed location to pick up a Rail Gun in Chapter 6 Season 1, so your best bet at finding one is to head to a location with high chest density like Twilight Forest, Kappa Kappa Factory, and Masked Meadows.
How to use the Rail Gun in Fortnite
The Rail Gun acts a little differently when compared to the other guns in Fortnite.
When firing the Rail Gun, you must charge the shot to deal damage. You can unleash the shot early, but the shot will deal less damage. Be wary when charging the Rail Gun as it will emit a red beam that is visible to other players.
Additionally, the Rail Gun is a hit scan weapon that is capable of piercing through one structure. Keep an eye out for a Void Boon as it’ll allow you to see other players’ positions after you knock an enemy — giving you a free shot through walls.
