German national booked for carrying prohibited GPS device at Mopa Airport

Feb 16- Mopa Airport Police registered an FIR against German national Thomas Richter under the Indian Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1933, for carrying a prohibited GPS device without a valid license. The incident occurred this morning during security screening at Manohar International Airport, Mopa. The GPS Garmin device was detected in Richter’s handbag before his Air India flight to Delhi.
