The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sri City and TeamLease EdTech, a learning and employability solution company, have collaborated to launch three advanced online executive MTech programmes. The new MTech programmes in VLSI, IoT and Autonomous Systems, and Cyber Security seek to address the critical demand for skilled professionals enhancing their adaptability to newer domains and to bridge the talent gap in India’s technology landscape providing better reach to working professionals and graduates who seek the knowledge and expertise required to excel further in their careers, an official statement released in this regard said.
MTech in VLSI Design seeks to offer a deep dive into semiconductor technologies, digital and analog circuit design, and system-on-chip development. With a focus on low-power VLSI, nano-scale devices, and mixed-signal circuit design, this programme prepares students for roles in semiconductor manufacturing, chip design, and embedded systems engineering.
MTech in IoT and Autonomous Systems will equip learners with expertise in IoT architecture, cyber-physical systems, and autonomous decision-making. Covering advanced wireless communication, 5G/6G technologies, and digital twin applications, this programme is designed for professionals aiming to build smart, interconnected systems across industries.
MTech in Cyber Security will be providing in-depth knowledge of cryptography, ethical hacking, cloud security, and AI-driven threat detection. With hands-on training in penetration testing, blockchain applications, and digital forensics, graduates will be ready to tackle cybersecurity challenges in enterprises, government, and critical infrastructure sectors.

According to a statement issued in this regard, the programmes feature an industry-centric curriculum designed with direct industry inputs to align with evolving market trends and technological advancements.
These programme will be delivered in a direct-to-device (D2D) format, the live, interactive online classes enable professionals across India to access quality education seamlessly.
Learners will gain experience through industry-relevant case studies, lab simulations, and project-based learning, ensuring practical exposure. The courses will be taught by faculty from IIIT Sri City alongside industry experts, providing a comprehensive and industry-aligned learning experience.
