Alexander Bublik plays lights out tennis to knocck out ninth seed Alex de Minaur in five sets in the men’s singles second round.
A sensational serving masterclass from Bublik, who entertained the crowd with his tweeness on Thursday.
Alex de Minaur reached the quarterfinal at Roland Garros last year and went on to compete in the last-eight round of Wimbledon, US Open and Australian Open 2025. That streak is broken.
He was leading two sets to love, but Bublik turned it around and won in five sets. The serving game went off for De Minaur in the last three sets.
Bublik becomes the first man from Kazakhstan to reach the third round at Roland Garros.
