JAM 2025 Exam Day Guidelines: The Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM), scheduled for February 2, will be conducted as a computer-based test for seven distinct test papers. Hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology- Delhi (IIT-D), it will be held in two sessions. The first session is from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the second session is from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Here are some of the exam day guidelines that students should follow:
JAM 2025: Things to remember
–Candidates need to bring their admit cards to the exam hall. The admit card includes details such as the candidate’s name, test code, test venue address, applied test paper, category, sub-category, etc. Soft copies of JAM admit cards will not be accepted.
–Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry a valid photo ID.
–Candidates should reach the exam hall as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
–Students must remember not to ink their hands as once reached inside the exam hall, invigilators will verify their biometrics.
–JAM aspirants are not allowed to bring calculators in the exam hall. Every candidate will get a virtual scientific calculator on their computer.

JAM 2025: Things to avoid
–Any communicating devices like calculator, iPad, smartphone, smartwatch, blue tooth devices, etc are not allowed in the exam hall.
–Any kind of notes, book or notebook are not allowed inside the exam hall.
–Candidates are prohibited from tampering any computer devices during or before the examination. Such instances can led to cancellation of the candidature.

Meanwhile, IIT Delhi has re-scheduled exam in Prayagraj. It will now be conducted in Lucknow on the same dates. The revision in the exam centres is in view of the Mahakumbh. Revised JAM admit cards are already released for the centres.
