How to Claim Your Kerala Lottery Prize
The Kerala State Lotteries Department reminds winners that all prize claims must be submitted within 30 days of the draw. Claims made after the deadline will not be accepted, so timely action is essential.
Claiming High-Value Prizes
Winners of the top-tier prizes — ₹1 crore and ₹25 lakh — must surrender their original winning tickets to the Director of State Lotteries, either in person or by insured registered post. These high-value claims may also be processed through nationalised, scheduled, state, or district co-operative banks.
Along with the ticket, winners must provide valid identification such as an Aadhaar or PAN card, plus any additional documents required to confirm their identity and eligibility.
Prizes Up to ₹5,000
Those who win smaller amounts (below ₹5,000) can claim their prize directly from any authorised lottery agent in Kerala. Usually, no major documentation is needed beyond producing an intact, verifiable ticket.
Final Verification
All claims — especially for high-value winnings — must be cross-checked with the Kerala Government Gazette, which publishes the official, legally recognised list of winning numbers. Only Gazette-listed results are considered final and valid.
