It’s not clear what roles each hero will have, though the Thing would logically fit in the Vanguard role, while Invisible Woman would certainly be a good fit as a Strategist. The Fantastic Four will no doubt have plenty of Team-Up synergies between themselves, and possibly with other heroes — like Namor, for example.
The addition of four or more new heroes in a single season would rapidly expand Marvel Rivals’ already massive roster; the game currently boasts 33 playable heroes and villains.
Fantastic Four’s arrival in Marvel Rivals comes about six months before the quartet will make its debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. That movie, the start of Marvel Studios’ Phase Six, opens in theaters on July 25.
