Marvel Snap developer Second Dinner outlines the compensation players will receive after the game was briefly unavailable in the United States. The superhero card game was caught up in the short-lived TikTok ban in the US, which made it unavailable in app stores and briefly unplayable. Marvel Snap has since been brought back online, but to make up for the ongoing issues, Second Dinner is giving all players – not just those in the US – a compensation package.
Second Dinner outlines multiple types of Marvel Snap compensation depending on where you’re from and your in-game level. As long as your account was created before Monday January 20, 2025, you’ll get free rewards in the card game. Players in the United States will get the “US Downtime Package,” while the rest of the world will be given the “Global Gratitude Package.”
For both global and US players, you get one of two compensation packages depending on your collection level. If your collection level is over 500 you get one package, but if it’s under 500 you’ll be given another. When Marvel Snap was banned in the US there was a lot of uncertainty, so these rewards are a nice way to give back to all of its players.

To increase your collection level in Marvel Snap you need to upgrade cards, which you can do with both boosters and credits. As your collection level goes up you’ll earn new cards and currencies, with plenty available the more you play and upgrade.
To be eligible for the Marvel Snap compensation, you must have created an account before Monday January 20, 2025. Second Dinner adds that the compensation should be in your inbox between Monday January 27 and Sunday February 2. You can find the full statement regarding compensation here.
