Navi Mumbai International Airport to be inaugurated by PM Modi on October 8

The first phase of the Navi Mumbai International Airport will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 8. Built for Rs 19,647 crore, the NMIA will be one of India’s largest aviation hubs. It will have four terminals that would be able to handle around 90 million passengers per year.

Spread across an area of 1,160 hectares, the NMIA has been developed by the Adani Group and Maharashtra's town development authority CIDCO.
